  19. I don't see why it would be sutch a suprise that BE is is eager to support
  20. developers, if they did'nt they would be dead in the water, since no software
  21. is available for their system.

  23. AT is just slow to get organized, but they allready have loads of software
  24. availble for their hardware, so they can proceed with other tasks, and catch
  25. up with developers afterwards.

  27. I find the whole BE isue amusing. Just because we wore all very woried for the
  28. future of the Amiga, we are suddently exited about a computer, witch will give
  29. us Amiga terms (exiting hardware, great operating system, no compatability
  30. whatsoever, high prices), but takes away one great thing that we finally got
  31. for the Amiga: Lots of software.

  33. I simply dont get it?!. If You want a fast mashine buy a Alpha 275MHZ. they
  34. are not that expensive. If You want compatability, and software, buy a PC, if
  35. You don't want a PC. but want all the great software, buy a MAC.

  37. If You like me love the Amiga, it's software, and the people (And by the way,
  38. You are one of those people that make me love my Amiga!, Your efford putting
  39. 1000s of programs on floppys and distributing them around the world at no
  40. charge, is what really makes me stay with my Amiga, no other platform has
  41. people like that!.) The people using Amigas are a very special breed indeed!,
  42. they will go further than anyone I know, You will find full blown projects
  43. that have take years to develop like Term being released as PD with full
  44. source, now that's what I call commitment.

  46. I understand Your fustration that AT seams slow to support developers, but I
  47. hope they will catch on and get things going. I don't understand the logic
  48. behind the Amiga users proclaiming they will jump to the BE system for one
  49. reason ore the other. Should the worst thing happend, and I would be forced
  50. tho change my computer system, I would'nt go to BE just because it's
  51. different, I would actually be inclined not to do that, because I don't want
  52. to start from level 0 once more with no software, I would probably be more
  53. inclined to get some exiting hardware, and run Linux or similar, where the
  54. same kind of spirit, as in Amiga circles seams to exist.

  59. find info on that latest releases and their contents?
